The Power, Linear Voltage Regulators Collection is a set of educational circuit boards designed to support first- and second-semester electronics courses focused on power electronics and voltage regulator design.
This collection includes four foundational voltage regulator circuit configurations:

Each circuit is implemented as a standalone miniPCB™ with standardized layout, clear labeling, and accessible test points, making them easy to integrate into analog and power electronics lab settings. These boards are ideal for reinforcing key learning outcomes such as voltage regulation, thermal performance, dropout characteristics, and load regulation.
Instructors can use the full set to guide students through a systematic exploration—from basic zener diode shunt regulators and emitter followers to precision voltage references and low-dropout regulators—while encouraging real-world measurements of ripple rejection, transient response, and power dissipation across varying load conditions.
